Practice Emphasis
Ms. Armstrong regularly represents large and small business clients in the areas of general business and corporate law, commercial law, and employment law defense, claim prevention and training. This representation has included the sale and/or acquisition of businesses and working with clients involved in complex commercial disputes.  She also assists businesses and academic institutions with obtaining visas for foreign national employees and provides advice and training to employers regarding compliance with federal immigration laws.  Ms. Armstrong regularly assists general contractors and other construction industry firms with their day-to-day legal issues.  She also routinely handles federal and state trademark and copyright registrations.  She has also handled matters for clients in the areas of environmental law, real property, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.

Ms. Armstrong has authored several employer immigration law compliance brochures, including “I-9s, IDs and Immigration Law in General” and “Employer’s Guide to Immigration Law.”  She also regularly publishes articles regarding legal solutions for businesses in local magazines, including Chamber Perspectives.  Ms. Armstrong also routinely speaks to business and trade groups regarding legal solutions for business needs.
